Guest Experience Survey

To receive survey code, make a purchase, retain receipt and complete online survey at www.talktokfc.co.nz. Max 1 survey code per receipt. Survey code valid for 3 days from issue of original receipt. To redeem print / write down the validation code received at the survey completion on the original receipt and show to staff at participating KFC Restaurants.  Spend a minimum of $5 in 1 transaction to redeem the Free Regular Chips & Drink. Validation code valid for 14 days from date of issue and cannot be redeemed within the same day of original purchase. Not valid with any other offer.  Free regular Chips and Drink not redeemable for KFC Delivery.  Excludes KFC Auckland International Airport.

Standard Terms and Conditions for KFC

  1. Discount coupons or added value may be issued by KFC from time to time for use by KFC customers.
  2. Offers are valid on surrender of coupon.
  3. Coke glass shown with food products are only for illustrative purposes.
  4. Unless otherwise indicated coupons are valid for one item or offer per order per day.
  5. Prices and offers may be valid for a limited period only.
  6. Offers may not be available in conjunction with another offer, coupon or special deal.


These terms and conditions of entry relate to the Coca Cola and KFC ‘Win Big’ Promotion (the Promotion).

  1. The Promoters are Coca-Cola Amatil (N.Z.) Limited (CCA) and Restaurant Brands (New Zealand) Limited of 666 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland, NZ, 1061.
  2. The Promotion commences at 12.00am on Tuesday, 27 November 2018 and concludes at 11.59pm on Monday, 14 January 2019 (Promotion Period).
  1. Entry to the Promotion is only open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents (New Zealand Residents) aged 18 years and older at the time of entry who remain New Zealand Residents for the duration of the Promotional Period (Entrants). The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families, including their children and other persons residing in their household) of the Promoters, their related entities, corporations or franchisees, printers, suppliers, providers, software providers and developers, and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter the Promotion.
  1. The Promotion is to run through participating KFC restaurants nationwide, excluding KFC Auckland International terminal, and KFC delivery (Participating Stores).
  2. To enter, Entrants must:
    1. upsize their chips and drink for $2.50 (Qualifying Purchase) at a Participating Store during the Promotion Period;
    2. receive a unique code on their till receipt; and
    3. text the unique code from the till receipt to ‘959’.
  3.  Each entry enters the Entrant into the relevant Daily Prize Draw, as well as the relevant Weekly Prize Draw, and the Grand Prize Draw.
  4. Unique codes not available via delivery or KFC kiosks or delivery.
  5. If more than one qualifying purchase is made in one transaction, the till receipt will print one unique code for every qualifying purchase.
  6. Texts to ‘959’ will incur a standard message cost to the entrant. Texts will not be included as part of any text plan packages – check with your telecommunications provider. All text costs are at the expense of the Entrant. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to confirm with the bill payer (if the Entrant and the bill payer are not the same person) prior to incurring the standard message cost.  
  7. No entries will be accepted outside the Promotion Period.
  8. Entrants may enter a maximum of once per day.
  1. There are 1,000 Daily Prizes to be won daily during the Promotion period. The total number of Daily Prizes is 42,000 during the Promotion Period. 
  2. There are three types of Daily Prizes to be won:
  1. 20,000 x 420ml Coke each valued at $3.20;
  2. 11,000 x KFC Regular Chips each valued at $3.20; and
  3. 11,000 x KFC Regular Potato & Gravy valued at $3.20.
  1. The total Daily Prize value is $134,440 as at 31 October 2018.
  2. There shall be 1 Daily Prize Draw of 1,000 winners per day of the Promotion Period, excluding Tuesday 27 November 2018.
  3. Each Daily Prize Draw shall occur at 12pm everyday starting Wednesday 28 November 2018 through to the end of the Promotion Period.
  4. If an Entrant is a Daily Prize Winner, they will receive a text message to notify them as a Daily Prize Winner, along with a unique 12 digit (Claim Code) to use at participating KFC restaurant.
  5. To redeem a Daily Prize, Daily Prize Winners must present their Claim Code to a KFC cashier at a Participating Store to receive their Daily Prize.
  6. Claim Codes will be valid until 18 January 2019.   
  7. A Claim Code cannot be used more than once.
  8. Only one Daily Prize may be claimed per transaction.
  9. Daily Prizes that are not claimed in the time and manner specified in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed forfeited. No compensation will be payable if an entrant is unable to claim a Daily Prize as stated for whatever reason, including winning a Daily Prize that has for some reason been deleted from the Entrant’s phone. The Promoter’s decision are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. If less than 1,000 entries are received on any given day during the Promotion Period, the remaining Daily Prizes will not be redrawn or awarded.
  11. The Daily Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  1. There is one major $20,000 cash prize to be won (Grand Prize) and six weekly cash prizes of $1,000 (Weekly Prize) to be won during the Promotion Period.
  2. The Grand Prize will be drawn at 12pm on Wednesday 16 January 2018. All entries that text a valid Unique Code to ‘959’ will automatically go into the Grand Prize draw.
  3. The Weekly Prize Draws will be drawn each Wednesday throughout the Promotion Period excluding Wednesday 28 November and 4 December 2018, with the first Weekly Prize drawn on Wednesday 12 December and the last Weekly Prize drawn on Wednesday 16 January 2019.
  4. The total value of the Weekly Prizes is $6,000.
  5. The total value of the Grand Prize is $20,000.
  1. The Prize Draws under this Promotion will be randomly drawn and independently supervised.
  2. All winners will be notified via the same mobile number through which the entry was made. The Promoter is not responsible for any undelivered text messages to the winner’s mobile.
  3. If a winner does not reply to the Promoter within ten days of notification of being a Weekly Prize or Grand Prize winner, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and the Promoters reserve the right to randomly draw a new winner of the ‘Win Big’ Promotion from the eligible participants on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
  4. All Weekly Prize winners and Grand Prize winner must nominate a New Zealand bank account into which the Weekly Prize or Grand Prize will be paid within 10 working days. 
  5. If the winner does not have a bank account, they are able to nominate another person’s New Zealand bank account into which the Prize can be deposited. No Prizes will be paid to winners other than via a New Zealand bank account.  Each winner confirms that they have the consent of the account holder to pass such of the account holder’s personal information, as is necessary, on to the Promoters.  The Promoters accept no liability for any dispute between the nominated account holder and the Prize winner in relation to funds deposited into a nominated bank account.
  6. It is the winner’s responsibility to disclose to the Inland Revenue Department the receipt of a Prize and to pay any taxes that may become due. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning a Grand Prize or Weekly Prize.
  7. Prizes must not be sold or given away as part of another promotion.
  1. No compensation will be paid to any person if a winner is unable to redeem a Daily, Weekly or Grand Prize for whatever reason.
  2. The Promoters may refuse to award a Daily Prize, Grand Prize or Weekly Prize to any winner if, in the Promoters’ opinions, that winner have breached these terms and conditions or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.
  3. Entry into the Promotion is deemed authority from you to your telecommunications provider to release your phone number(s) to the Promoters (or their agents). By texting a Unique Code to 959, Entrants consent to the Promoter contacting them at the contact details provided regarding any Prizes won.
  4. You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. If you don't produce the proof of purchase for all entries if and when asked, the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to the relevant Daily, relevant Weekly or Grand Prize.
  5. Entrants must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoters or any of their related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
        (f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  1. Any person suspected of cheating in the opinion of the Promoters through the manipulation of entry, creation or use of software to aid in multiple entries and otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting in any way fraudulent, in the opinion of the Promoters, will be removed from this Promotion and damages may be sought.
  2. The Promoters’ decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Promoters and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, or damage suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
  4. Entrants consent to the Promoters using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
  5. If an Entrant is a Major Prize or Weekly Prize winner, the personal information provided by that Entrant will be held for with the Promoters or the Promoters’ affiliated agents.  Under the Privacy Act 1993, you have the right to access and correct this personal information. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address set out below. The Promoters will destroy all personal information 30 days after the Prizes have been fulfilled.
  6. The New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 grants certain rights which cannot be excluded or limited. These rights include statutory guarantees that any goods or services provided will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose, and that any services will be rendered with due care and skill.  These Terms and Conditions do not, and do not intend to, exclude or limit those statutory rights in any way.  However, to the extent that is permitted by law to do so, Sponsors make no representations or warranties, express or implied, under laws other than the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 regarding the quality or suitability of any prize awarded as part of this Promotion and will not be responsible for breach of such representations or warranties. 
  7. The Promoters reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time for any reason.
