Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers

As a Manager at KFC you’ll be bursting with potential and be able to run the business like it were your own. You’ll be given every chance to show us how good you are and we’ll encourage you to perform at an exceptional standard so that you can help grow your skills and build the business. You’ll also have the opportunity to gain an NZQA approved qualification.

To become a manager you’ll need great communication skills, a team focus, proven leadership ability, an interest in building your career in the hospitality sector and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Most importantly, you’ll have the desire to join a friendly working environment where everyone works well as a team to make each day a good one!

Area Managers

For an Area Manager with KFC, no two days are the same. Each Area Manager looks after a group of restaurants in a specific location. They are constantly in the field working closely with their team of Restaurant Managers to ensure that KFC is consistently delivering the highest level of customer service.

Area Manager positions are usually offered internally to our top Restaurant Managers who have proven their passion for hospitality, have helped grow sales and developed outstanding leadership skills. The role of an Area Manager is as diverse and challenging as it is rewarding.
