KFC Balmoral paints it black with Mountain Dew

KFC is painting it black, unveiling a unique new paint job on its Auckland Balmoral store early this morning.
In partnership with Mountain Dew’s Pitch Black drink, the busy KFC Balmoral Store has undergone a dramatic transformation from its usual red and white livery.
The store’s new black and white look is to mark the instore launch of the grape-citrus flavoured drink, which will be available at all KFC stores nationwide from next week (Thursday 8 September).
The new paint job covering the store’s exterior took workers two days to complete behind a specially erected tarp shielding the transformation from prying eyes.
As part of KFC’s $65 million transformation programme, the Balmoral store also underwent an upgrade while closed with improvements made to the store’s interior, lighting, landscaping and drive thru.
For tomorrow only, customers at the KFC Balmoral store located at 511 Dominion Rd, on the intersection of Dominion and Balmoral Roads, can get a free 1.5L Mountain Dew Pitch Black worth $4 with any purchase over $10.
